Noonmark Server Download Task Dialog

You use the Noonmark Server Download Task dialog to configure a Task which involves downloading one or more files from a Noonmark Secure File Access Server to a local computer. The Noonmark Server allows the employees, customers, and business partners of your company to securely transfer, distribute, process, and store files over the Internet. For more information, please visit our website:  http://www.NoonmarkTech.com/secure-file-access-system.aspx. The following sections explain the function and configuration of each field in the dialog.

Task ID
This field is generated by the application. It is the unique numeric identifier that the program uses to keep track of each Task. No configuration is necessary.

File Action
This field displays the type of Task that you are currently configuring.

Task Name
Use this field to give a unique name to the Task that you are currently configuring. Make sure to name your Tasks in a way that will easily identify them in the Task list window.

Task Description
Use this field to give a more detailed description of the Task that you are currently configuring.

Noonmark Server Logon Account
Use this field to select the account information (user name and password) that will be used by the application to make the connection to the Noonmark Server. You can add a new account here if you do not have one that has the correct credentials already in the list.

Protocol
Use this field to specify whether you are going to connect to the Noonmark Server using a standard (http://) or SSL secured (https://) connection.

Noonmark Server Address
Use this field to specify the Noonmark Server address information. Enter the full URL or IP Address including any subfolders e.g. upload.company.com/files or 192.168.7.45/files. You do not need to enter http:// or https:// in front of the name, just set the Protocol to your desired setting.

Port
Use this field to specify the numeric port being used by the Noonmark Server. The port used by most http servers is 80 and for https (SSL) servers is 443 but these numbers can vary. You should get the correct port value from the Noonmark Server administrator.

Assigned Files
Use this field to assign one or more files to the Task. You can right click on a Source File Name in this list to unassign the file from the list of files to be processed by the Task or to launch the Rename Destination File dialog where you can rename the file once it has been copied to the destination folder. For more information about the Rename Destination File dialog, please refer to the Rename Destination File section of this help file. Click the Browse button (or right click on a Source File Name) to launch the Assign File(s) To Task dialog where you can edit the list of assigned files. For more information about the Assign File(s) To Task dialog, please refer to the Assign Files To Task section of this help file.

File Date Range
Click this button to launch a dialog that allows you to limit the date range of files that will be included in the Task. For more information about this feature, please refer to the Task Files Date Range section of this help file.

Local Computer Destination Folder
Use this field to set the folder to which the Task is going to copy the file(s). Click the Browse button to select a local or network folder. You may also type a valid folder path into the field directly. If you will be copying the files to a location on the network, make sure to use a UNC path (e.g. \\server_name\share_name) rather than a mapped drive letter (e.g. S:\share_name) because the NTS File Mover will not be able to access the folder by drive letter when the Job is run by the scheduler due to the constraints of the Windows operating system.

Add Date Stamp
Click this button to launch a dialog that allows you to create a destination root folder that contains a date/time stamp. For more information about this feature, please refer to the Create Date/Time Stamped Destination Root Folder Name section of this help file.
